hooey's homes-hopping expedition

This is martin. a 5 year boy whom i spent my morning with. See what he is holding in his hands? it's his zoo! He drew a crocodile, tiger, leopard and a lion. Goodness me, it's been sometime since i spent a time with a toddler * is he considered one?* and we din have any toys at home for him to play. BUt yet, he's a creative little boy and yup... this is one nice picture. He's so sweet as to even cut out some strips of paper, imagining them as "tickets" to the zoo as he passed them to me... awwww... little kids. Muaks!

Next, i went over to koon's housewarming party after having lunch with my family.. of cos, which took place after little martin left. * i do have more pictures of martin.. videos actually* do you know how cute little kids' laughter is like? Darn.. i could go on forever. BUt here.. to cut the story short. One of koon's friend gave him a very.. erm "interesting " present. take a look.


can anyone imagine that?? haha little kids were playing with it running all over the place. Thou shall not elaborate on the use or what it is *subjected to reader's imagination, hiaks* though, i believe my friend has kindly erm.. gave us a short peek! haha! shall i put up picts of koon's place? IT's darn nice lah.. very sleek and simplistic. Minimalistic and yet, elaborate all at the same time. Cool eh... aiyah, oxymoron again issit?

MOre convo pics!!! haha, mr murf has kindly offered me a lift from koon's place. so yeah, hassle-free. * not exactly that comfortable lugging a big bag when one is wearing heels* right..i'm going to let the pictures do the elaboration. Anyway, gordon's birthday tom and we decided to give him a surprise party as well=)

Objects that evoke

Weird title? yeah, took some pics today cos just felt something when i see them. Like my lappie below my bed lamp. i love this sight. very comfy, along with my current favourite book- Dan Brown's "Angels & Demons" which i will no doubt finish soon. Then another angle of my bed taken with the morning rays streaming in. Yup, coincidentally, i took a picture of my bed in the morning and one just before i get ready to turn in after i off my lappie. funny.

See the little bear? It was taken off a hallmark wrapping paper which i bought at the supermart today. Love the design. If you can see the entire wrapping paper, u will probably agree that it makes a great wallpaper. for a baby's room of cos. A baby girl's room. haha. I think i will use it to wrap a note book.

Then the keyboard. Was playing with my camera when i happen to see this shot while shooting mode. Thought it looked pretty cool, going for the sleek appearance with the black keyboard and the wooden table which it falls on. Nice combi. Yeah, just bits and pieces of my room... If one could see the whole entire room, u will relate it more with a pig sty rather than use the word "sleek and nice".

Again, just my comments.
oh, anyone wondered how come u dont see people hanging their singapore flags now? What happened? if u do see singapore flags, one will realize it's usually the whole entire block, the block residing in the Obvious spot along the main road. * seems fishY*... think. Hmm.. what happened to the national spirit? Or is there such a term used in the first place? I was with my dad driving along the roads when i realize, if not for the fact that i see some singapore flags, i prob forgotten the custom of hanging's one flag as national day approaches. With a sudden new found hope, i went back home and asked my mum for the flag. i wanted to do something new this year. I shall hang the flag, and not leave it to community members to encourage us to do so. * hmm.... will i get into trouble for saying more?* sigh, national issues are always content of high sensitivity. Something one rather avoid then touch the raw nerve of goodness knows who. Blogging has become an oxymoron as least in our local context. Screening one's thoughts before penning down isnt much of blogging, don't ya think?

Before i end... i observed that i love alot of things. COunt the number of "LOVE" i used just on things.... what to do? i'm a great lover. Life is good when one loves more than one complains.

*shrugs* i'm off to my fav past time. reading myself to dreamland.

i sacrificed my lovely forever friend blog for this plain but nvm( i'm capable of spicing things up)... just so that i can hear inputs. SO ER HEM, u people know what to do. Anyway, i dont quite believe i'm quite finished with my posting of pictures.. (hurrah) more pictures to haolian!.

haha, i went out with my ajc gals last sunday to take convo pictures at the ever popular esplanade. Question: why do people take convo pictures at the durian head there huh? first thing first, we dont study there.We dont graduate there. We dont even work there! ( ok.. at least for me.. =()But i'm glad to say that there are many interesting graffiti pieces, legalized by relevant authorities of cos that makes colourful backdrops. Lovely!

rainy afternoon

This summarise my rainy afternoon (monday) with one close pal of mine.. mr yc. Mr nice guy whom has been crapping with me for years. The type of buddy u can enjoy a nice cup of hazelnut latte and chicken pie. The friend whom u can pour out ur complains, shares ur whacky ideas or thoughts, not be afraid to do stupid things and yup.. share each other's ups and downs and be each other's aunt agony. That's my pal. Here's a tribute to him. KOPI!!!!!=)


after which, i met up with the gang... to give a kinda surprise farewell to mr ruffy. sad... but well, just tot i post a pic to remember the moment.=P

I have been resting for the past few days, i finally know how it's like to rest and feel free to just do whatever u like. I'm very thankful to my parents for not rushing me altho i know they want and need me to get a job. I'm thankful to them for being so understanding, for not nagging at me even when i'm still in bed at 10. *okie the rest of u who are working.. stop cursing at me*. My parents are the kind that make me appreciate them for who they are and how they taught me well.. so i will want to make sure i get a good job and that i will repay their kindness for me. I am writing this down cos i know one day, i will just take them for granted and take their concern for something which is obligated of them. I know it's not, and i wont want that day to come without me realizing it. I'm writing this now, so that one day, should i feel lost, i will come in confused and leave the blog with a calm focused mind. AM i preaching? yeah.. feeling emotional having these days to think about what i want and where i stand.

About the kind of girl i am and the kind of friend i've been. About things around me and shows i have watched. TRUST me... these few weeks, i practically worshipped channel 55.. turning into a fanatic , even more when they repeat the shows on channel 255. HAHAHA.. some crazy TV nut i have become. i am so very tempted to write down what i do everyday.. for the whole world to know what kinda silly fart i have been. hehehe. but somehow, somethings are personal. Even if i want to write it all down, i will not be able to do it, unless someone can video the thoughts in my head. *hey, that will be cool eh*

RUffy's leaving for indonesia soon.. and i want to make sure i get the habit of penning my thoughts into this blog and into our emails for him to read. I dont think i will have much of a problem with LDR but it's bound to be alit challenging and hard.. even more for him cos its'a new culture and a whole new place he's facing.. wish him luck people!!!=) what am i talking about? he's prob the only person that read this blog... haha. i haven quite told others about my pathetic blog yet.

it's two! and ruffy's hasn call yet. WEll, it's alright, one thing i noe about myself.. i'm really capable of entertaining myself. I have this tendency to destroy things too.. unwittingly of cos. Did i mention i spoilt the fan? i was just trying to shift it when it toppled and the live wire came out.. and the socket snapped! yeah.. dont be surprised. never underestimate hooey.OH, i broken two keys while trying to lock the door. Yup.. thats' hooey!=)
