Eight below. A movie of friendship, trust, cute dogs, survival and hope.=)
Made better still when one watched it with two good friends. The vons.
Well, besides paul walker who was highly distracting, haha, i found myself concerned with the advertisements which took almost 15 mins before the actual screening of the movie.
If advertisments were to be a representation of the current lifetstyle/mindset/wants of Singaporeans, someone help me decipher this would u?
1. 2 credit cards advertisements
2. 2 Samsung phone advertisements
3. 1 nokia Phone advert
4. oh, and these 2 pepsi advertisement with the "Dont worry, no/Low sugar content" thingy
There's prob more, but these few strike me.
That's us huh. Mobile and credit. And low sugar.

that's singapore.. haha our lives have evolved to the routine.. study, work, retire, with dating and getting married, starting a family running parallel.. that seems to be all there is to our lives.. material gains and monetary achievements seems to be our goal in our narrow minded life..
i find that rather depressing and horribly shallow.
Oh, i recalled the starhub advert. I guess that too can help summarise the ultimate life plan you mentioned.
However, if one's to take the path less travelled in singapore, i believe one will realize how more lonely, narrow and distraught the journey seems compared to elsewhere.
So much for narrow minded vs narrow path.
