MAY DAY amplified

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CCL!

Called him last night when i just reached timbre. Kinda missed the exact hour when i struggled with finding the carpark. Anyway, mr chiang is sick and i hope he takes good care of himself while he've over at bangkok. Recover soon.

So many mays' birthday. MAY is the month i bid good bye to the notes in my bank account. You know, when a plane's about to crash and people starting yelling "mayday", for me, i put myself through "MAY MONTH!" as the figures in my account start crashing down.

Well, yesterday marked my virgin trip to Timbre. (picture taken off Timbre's website)

A pretty comfy chill-out place which giles had highly recommended and where i' was supposed to meet up with amy-san.

TIMMY the band was playing there, and some pretty decent tunes were belted out . As there were two drivers, me and von avoided alcohols, they dont even serve mocktails there. So, yup... was deciding between lychee martini and erm.. Softdrinks. And in the end, give way to positive peer pressure and took the latter. HAHA.

Tried the thin crust pizza, not bad. Just that with a live-band, it's quite hard to talk, so we had to pace ourselves and makan (while enjoying the music) and start talking in between breaks.

Sorry no photos, was a last minute decision to hang out at timbre after meet up the girls and my roomie's bf. Haha, overall, quite a nice experience. Marks a first for our squad.

Jeli, u know we reached timbre only at about 12 plus and left at 2 plus. We spent an hour on the roads, and a short while mingling near von's pool. Teng and i came up with a new exercise regime. Next time to try it out as squad when we have our sleep over at vont's place.

Once again, a sincere wish that CCL recovers soon and that he'll be able to head out for his birthday.
